Gurukul Institute of Pharmaceutical science & research

The Gurukul Institute of Pharmaceutical Science & research was set up in the year 2008 with the objectives to provide quality education and Practical Training Pharmaceutical Science field and to serve the community by educating pharmacists to improve health care system. The Institute is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal and approved by AICTE & PCI, New Delhi.

The infrastructure of GIPSR has been designed to cater to the needs of the students and help them develop overall skills required to face the challenges in the field of pharmaceutical science. The well-equipped infrastructure at GIPSR, with ready access for students, fulfills this need.  More than 200 students have been placed in several national or multinational pharmaceutical companies.

Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) awarded our two students, Sunny jain and Rakesh jain by gold medal for their outstanding academic performance. Gurukul Institute of Pharmaceutical science & research offers Bachelor of Pharmacy (4 year degree program) and Diploma in Pharmacy (2 year diploma course). GIPSR Library

the library comprises of approximately 5060 books with more than 200 titles. The Institute has subscribed to 15 international and national journals. As a member of DELNET, our students have access to 83,69,310 bibliographic records, 33,546 periodicals along with a huge range of CD ROMs and e-books.

GIPSR Laboratories The laboratories at GIPSR consist of all the latest equipments and software required for practical as well as theoretical learning as per AICTE & PCI Norms. The institute have following laboratories,

Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab These labs are used to impart education about the composition and development of various types of chemicals which can be used as medicines.

Pharmacognosy Lab This lab handles drugs that are obtained from plants origin.

Pharmaceutics Lab These laboratories help students to learn the art of formulating and manufacturing of Pharmaceutical dosage forms. Here, the students also learn about different dosage forms of medicines– tablets, capsules, ointments, emulsion, injections etc.

Machine Room As the name indicates this lab is equipped with machines that are required for basic drug manufacturing or formulation training.

Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab Pharmaceutical Analysis Laboratory has been designed to make students aware about the quality checkup of drugs.

Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab For the students all necessary apparatus are available in this lab to conduct regular experiments and pathological tests that give them the basic practical knowledge, important for understanding the human anatomy and physiology.

Microbiology Lab The microbiology laboratory is designed for students that can learn the techniques of handling microbes and study their behavior.

Pharmacology Lab In this lab student learns about the action of drugs by performing experiments on animal, software’s as well as in-vitro.

Computer Lab The computer Lab has about 40 computers that are fully equipped with modern software, to keep the students up-to-date with the fast changing needs of the pharmaceutical industries. Medicinal Garden

The Institute has developed a medicinal garden where students can easy access various medicinal plants to conduct their experiments.. In this era of herbal formulation and therapy, it has become a necessity to provide all information about medicinal properties of plants to students to make them acquainted with plants and thereby generate their interest in herbal medicines.

Gurukul Institute of Management

Gurukul Institute of Management was established in 2009. The institute is affiliated to jiwaji university Gwalior & Recognized by Department of Higher Education Bhopal. Institute has a well developed infrastructure and having a wide sport ground for facility of sports. The library contains thousands of books of nation or international publishers.

B.B.A. (Bachelor of Business Administration): Bachelor of Business Administration is integrated and manage administrative with respect to organizing staffing and controlling all activities in organization at middle level management position in the public and private sectors. It provides opportunities in banking, insurance, marketing, accounting, finance and entrepreneurship.

B.C.A. (Bachelor of Computer Application): B.C.A. is three year degree course in computer application to develop all the skills for making a versatile, personality, system analyst, database administrator, computer professional. It provide opportunity in field of software developer, computer programmer, BPO (Business process outsourcing) and computer engineering. B.Com. (Bachelor of Commerce): The commerce stream after completion of 12th is a popular choice of students. As most students feel that the stream offers them the wide area of career options. It can be define as a study of trade and business activities such as the exchange of goods and services from producer to final consumer. It providing opportunity in accounting, banking and insurance etc.

B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science): Bachelor of Science is one of the most popular academic degree courses among the science students after class 12th. The duration of B.Sc. degree course ranging from 3 years in India. This course forms the basis of science and comprises of the subject like Biology, Math, Microbiology, computer Science etc. after the completion of B.Sc. degree there are various options available for the science students. They can go for master degree in science i.e. M.Sc, go in research area and can even look for professional job oriented courses.
Just like an academic courses student who have a B.Sc. degree also have an excellent employment opportunities in both science and non-science field. Job for B.Sc. graduates are not just restricted in the field of science but also they can explore others areas. Like management, engineering, law etc.

Gurukul Institute of Management Library: Gurukul institute of management has a huge library system. Student can find books of various subject related to their syllabus and course. Library exhibit positive impact on the academic achievements of the students. a library play a great role in the academic life of student. a part of text book library have a reference books to prepare notes.

Campus selection and Achievements: more than 100 students have been selected in national or multinational companies i.e. idea, airtel, birla sunlife, Wipro, Cadbury, cipla, teva, Godrej etc. Pawan Gurjar, a student of B.Com 2017 batch is a state level cricket player.
Laboratories: The institute has several laboratories consist of all the latest equipments required for practical learning as per DTE and university norms. The institute have following laboratories i.e. chemistry lab, microbiology lab, physics lab, zoology lab, botany lab, computer lab etc.

Gurukul College of Education

Gurukul college of education was established in year 2014 and running by purshottam shiksha avam jan kalyan samiti. The institute is affiliated by Madhya Pradesh board of secondary education (MPBSE) and recognized by national council of teacher education (NCTE). Institute offers D.El.Ed (diploma in elementary education) a two year program.

Vision: excellence in competencies and value based teacher education.

Objectives of the institution:

  • To introduce the prospective teacher to the fundamental of education through various papers prescribed in D.El.Ed. Course.
  • To equip the student teacher to acquire competencies and skill required for effective teaching and become effective practitioners.
